bu/şu/o object difference
Merhaba, as far as i learned the sentence: 'bu oda' can be either translated as 'this is room' or 'this room'. I am quite sure i am wrong and that there's a way to differentiate between the both, but how? Çok teşekkür ederim!!!
The difference is that one of them is in verb position and the other is the subject.
- Bu oda çok iyi. (This room is very good)
- Bu oda. ( This is a room)
So you can understand them by looking at their position in the sentences.
I think that 'this is a room' is 'bu bir oda' and 'this room' is 'bu oda'
let's change bu to o and oda to kedi. 'o kedi'. it could mean 'that cat' or 'he is the cat'. how would you differentiate in that situation? (take a close look that i used 'the' and not 'a').
Bu bir kedi dir = this is a cat. Bu kendi siyah tir (dir) = this cat is black . O kedi > defination object , explanation about objects , you talking explain some ting about thet object, >that cat, this cat is black . this , that, it is cat > Bu, su, o ... kedi dir. other ex , hi is engineer . That enginer is very good
