Duolingo should teach katakana too, as it is used side-by-side with hiragana.

It's in there - just mixed up and not isolated as Hiragana is.

They do, it’s just more spread out than the Hiragana.

They start Katakana with the Intro lesson.

I agree. They should do with katakana as they did with hiragana. I knew them coming here since I did lessons prior, but for someone who hasn't I reckon it can be a bit confusing.
