For the genre I love J-pop and some of the artists/songs I like are DAOKO (especially her song Daisuki with Teddyloid), E-girls, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (Favorite song by her: PONPONPON), REOL (Top 2 fave albums: Sigma & No title), Vocaloid 8 (all of them or individual plus IA & Neru), Utada Hikaru, and more that I can't think of atm.
I also like a lot of anime soundtracks, including My Dearest (from the anime Guilty Crown and from the group EGOIST. It's the opening song :D), Dango Daikazoku (From Clannad. I also love the piano version which is called Nagisa since it practically always comes on when she starts talking lol. It's the closing song, Red like Roses Pt. 1 & Pt. 2 (From the anime RWBY vol. 1 & 2), etc. ^^

I listen to them too except Rio Hiiragi because I have never heard it before. I also like AKB48, Yousei Teikoku, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Brats etc.
I reallly enjoy the pillows, RADWIMPS, d.w. nicols, urbangarde, Utada Hikaru, babymetal, lite, toe, Mouse on the Keys, Daoko, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and of course the lovely Joe Hisaishi. Many others too, but those are probably the ones I listen to the most currently.
Also jammin' hard to the music from Soul Eater, stance punks are rad. Plus many anime soundtracks <3

ありがとう, Bridget777053! I like having links.... since I am lazy XD I really liked the second song you shared: まどつき (Madotsuki's) いかないで (Ikanaide). It has a quirky, electronic sound... I don't usually listen to this kind of thing, so I really enjoyed this! どうもありがとうございます! The sound of the voice reminded me a bit of Greeeeeen's キセキ (Kiseki) https://youtu.be/HyFPtf_VbW0 If you can, ignore the music video and just let it play- hahahahah! There a ton of gorgeous covers of it too! This is one of my favourites- so cuuuute! https://youtu.be/McZoOoa53Y0
One thing that I love about Japanese songs are the minor notes... it makes the songs feel so nostalgic... A classic is 真夏の果実 (Manatsu no Kajitsu or Midsummer Fruit) https://youtu.be/cglbK6YPXD8?t=2m51s I can't seem to find the original... my favourite is actually one from the iTunes album JamTok, but there are, again, some gorgeous covers of this one too (as well as some terrible karoke covers- think American Idol fails) https://youtu.be/k_i_uxaXZl0 (Gorgeous cover- not a fail heheh)
I hope you like!
https://youtu.be/Bmp7MEj_j4U Unfortunately, the only boy band from Japan that I know of is Arashi.
I hate to say it, but for boyband dance choreography, Koreans own it. If you just want to view some awesome choreography (regardless of the language or country) here are some awesome ones:
Poreotics' "Day and Night" (they are neither Japanese nor Korean, but American Vietnamese) https://youtu.be/xtk57I3aXqA
Keone Madrid's "Manolo" https://youtu.be/VSAg_v5ufHQ
Keone Madrid and his wife own a dance studio in California (Urban Dance Camp) and they were the ones featured in Justin Bieber's music video "Love Yourself." He also choreographs dances for the K-pop band BTS.
BTS "Fire" https://youtu.be/p47gpTYwqB4
Koosung Jung's "6 Cypher" https://youtu.be/nFKmF2UtKjw
1Million Dance Studios is an awesome place to get majorly inspired or to loose endless hours clicking the "play next" button. This dance here is one of my all time favourites.
My favourite choreographer from this studio is actually a girl though. Unfortunately, the best dance of hers has a ton of profanity- in the lyrics. I didn't add it because of that, but if you search for "Hood Go Crazy" and "Sori Na" it is awesome dance. BE FOREWARNED though!!!
ONE more 1 Million Dance Studio: Jay Park's "All I Wanna Do" It is sooooo addictive!!! https://youtu.be/kqckfuUnC1U
Good luck!

Euhm, Baby Metal is kinda funny to listen at, but I kinda like Band-Maid and lately I've been listening a lot to Aklo.
Oh my goooooodness, I don't know how I missed this artist before! Just stumbled upon Beni Beni. I am not used to hearing female Japanese artists with this range! :D https://youtu.be/y0PZFILVhfw (永遠) https://youtu.be/Z8n5B7HQXbQ (Crazy Girl)
Totally forgot! If you learn best with music, check out LyricsTraining.com Unfortunately, for Japanese they only use romaji. But they have other languages also for all ye polyglots! enjoy :)
JUST found this from http://pikasmart.com Wanima's やってみよう!

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Music, particularly the Openings. https://youtu.be/yI3pg_YJnPM and https://youtu.be/E8n7zt4D-0Y
I particularly like these two songs. The first is very beautiful, and the second one is lively and always improves my mood. Both are encouraging. Good music!
