Can't verify email
Basically, the email doesn't show up; I've tried using a different browser, it's definitely not in spam or junk, tried several times, waited a while. Any ideas? Thanks
have you checked that your correct email address is listed with duolingo? It's under your profile
Do you receive any other email notifications from Duolingo? If not, could it be that you have installed filters that prevent the email being delivered even in your spam folder?
That's odd, I just tried again and found the verification from two minutes ago in the trash (didn't realise I had a filter); but all other trash remains undeleted, including other Duolingo notifications, and the other verifications requested aren't there. Thanks anyway
This may sound dumb, but have you checked your "Settings" to make sure that the email you have saved in Duolingo is the same email address as the one you're checking?

Are you sure the email you've signed up with on Duolingo is accurate? If not, you can change it by hovering over your username on the home page and clicking an option labeled "settings". From there, you should be able to alter your account's settings.
This SAME EXACT problem is happening to my other account. I need help with this.

We are aware that some email clients and/or settings are impacting the way the email is displaying, in a way that it is not displaying the button to some of you.
This seems to be the case particularly with "throwaway" email accounts you find on the web (and we do not recommend nor guarantee the email will work on their platform);
but it also appears to be happening to some Outlook users. If you cannot see the button in the email message, you can try:
1) disabling HTML and viewing the text-only version;
2) Trying a different email client;
3) If you are using Outlook with the settings that display the email incorrectly, try using your email provider's website instead, or accessing it some other way;
4) Wait for it to be repaired; we are working on a fix and will update this conversation when it is out so you can test it.
Remember, you should not be blocked until a month from this announcement, so we appreciate your patience. Thank you for reporting the issue!
