Why can't I change languages?
When I push the French flag to show the languages that I could switch to, the list instantly disappears. Is anyone else having this problem?

You should only have to hover over it, not push it.
Not having this issue but on a side note, when I go to "English for French speakers" it tells me my tree has updated and yet there is no change.

Well, I tried the hover. Didn't work. I have been spending most of my time on the French tree, so this isn't a horrible situation. I just wanted a change for today. I wanted to work on the reverse tree today.
Speaking of the French tree, I adore the negative skill! The French seem to want to be very specific about expressing how they feel about a subject. Later I will write a few of my favorite sentence structures. smiles
ML, would you please tell me what it means to update a tree? What is suppose to change so that you know that the tree has updated?

Yes, French negation is very hard. I'm still somewhat struggling.
If skills are added on/taken away, that means it has updated. Also, there's a banner at the top that says "Notice something different? We've upgraded your tree to teach you _ more effectively."
Edit: E, since it's working now, would it cause you a great deal of pain to go to your English for French tree? I would like to know if the glitch is happening to you, too.
I would love to check for you. However, I have not been able to switch back for three days. I am trying not to take this personally. I will report the problem again. I hope we are each able to solve our problems.
Hi ML, I am finally back to the French tree. My tree does not say that it has been updated. Where does your tree say that it is updated?
I'm afraid to switch to the Reverse Tree. I might get stuck there again. I don't like to have to report a bug every time I would like to switch to another tree. Would this be a weird AB test? (Is that what they are called?)
I wish Duo would stop reinventing the wheel and go back to what was so wonderful and special about this site. I don't mind the commercials. In fact, I like some of them. I enjoy looking through the products sold on the site 'A touch of Modern' and who doesn't like coupons?
Please give us the Activity Stream and Immersion back. I no longer feel like Duo is a language community that helps and encourages the participants. Later...

Yes, it might be an A/B test. I hope not, that would be unfortunate. If lots of people report this problem it just might be, I'll keep my eye out.
I don't miss Immersion but I do miss Activity. It's too hard for them to manage, though. But I do wish they would come up with a replacement. Even seeing the achievements people unlocked would be nice.
Hi ML, I just tried to switch back and I can't. I'll report it again. I just reported it again. I wish this could be fixed. Each time I report this I am able to change one time.
Hi, it is now fixed! :) Thank you! I see that you are looking for people to practice French with. Have you pushed the button that says 'Discuss sentence'? This appears after you correct a sentence. I have found some fun people there.

I reported my problem but I am not sure if they will get it. When I pushed submit, the green went to gray, but it still said Submit. Is that how it is suppose to look?
you hover over it wait for like a second and you will see your languages and move the cursor down and click the language you want
