My Ressources to learn Russian!

Всем привет!

I recommend you to go to the link of the course that my Russian teacher is following with us at the University:

Beginner's Russian https://ccle.ucla.edu/course/view/beginrussn?section=0

A Grammar Podcast ( iTunes U) https://itunes.apple.com/us/itunes-u/beginners-russian-learning/id434136286?mt=10 which will help you understand Russian grammar better.

Additional interactive materials for each chapter, including online flashcards, by Don Livingston (Arizona State University) are at http://s716811493.onlinehome.us/shp/beginners-russian/ and http://livingrussian.com/

To self-enroll, students and instructors will need to click on the "enroll me" link, next they will be asked for the enrollment key, the enrollment key is: vladimir2000

I also recommend you to download Readlang as a Chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/readlang-web-reader/odpdkefpnfejbfnmdilmfhephfffmfoh

And also download the Chrome extension of Lingvo Translator: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lingvo-translator%20/gjceecgpmolmpdeidmfehcfepdfmmffl which is a very good Online Ru-En/Es dictionnary https://www.lingvolive.com/ru-ru

I replaced the evil Google with https://yandex.ru/

With this tool you can proof your Russian texts and in other languages: https://languagetool.org/ru/

The Russian Dictionary Tree: a learner's grammatical dictionary. Created at Cornell University by Slava Paperno and Richard L. Leed http://russian.dmll.cornell.edu/rdt/

Here you can find books in bilingual version: http://bilinguis.com/ . For example, i am currently reading this "Приключения Алисы в стране чудес - Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" in Russian: http://bilinguis.com/book/alice/ru/en/

Useful travel phrases in Russian pronounced and read out loud in Forvo https://forvo.com/guides/useful_phrases_in_russian/

This thread has been very useful for cracking the basics of Russian: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/18366218

If you have more ressources, good youtube channels, good websites, free online books, etc., please share them on this thread.

Apart from learning the language itself, I found it very distracting to have to look for the keys on my (PC-) keyboard. Learning to type without looking is time spent wisely IMHO. Here's a (free) website that helps you do just that. When you go there, look for the first combobox (drop down list) on the left and choose the language you understand best. The rest should become clear if you then read the intro. Here's the website in English: http://www.typingstudy.com/en-russian-1/

Very impressive. But what is your level? Can you make conversations with Russian people, watch TV, and so on?
