同义词 vs 近义词

I bought a dictionary with these words in front of them:

Tongyici is synonym Fanyici is antonym I tried to translate the third word; jinyici, and it is translated as synonym too

Is it really the same? 同义词 vs 近义词

If it is, why is it written "同义词反义词近义词"?

Edit: I'm sorry if my honest question hurt your eyes that you needed to downvote it

So, 同义词 literally means 'same meaning word', while 近义词 means 'close meaning word'. As such, 同义词 is more like a direct synonym (identical meanings, often distinguished in use by only context or formality), while 近义词 would refer to a close synonym (such as 'jog' and 'run').

Thank you very much! Here's a lingot! What is "thesaurus" in Chinese by the way?

As far as I know, there isn't a widely accepted (like, frequently referenced by everybody) thesaurus for Chinese. Many people don't even know what the difference between a dictionary and a thesaurus is. There are many dictionaries though, and many of them offer the synonyms, antonyms and such.

There are two words for dictionaries: 字典 and 词典, the former is for looking up characters, the latter is for words. But the difference between them isn't as large as you may think.
