Langfocus video about Finnish

Hello guys,

Here is an interesting video about Finnish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-uWYvlyeBc

Not new, but I am showing to you now because Paul wrote under another video of his:

"Hey guys! If you have a chance after watching today's new video, do me a favor and watch this one too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-uWYvlyeBc

Youtube demonetized it and removed it from search results, something called a “limited state” because they misidentified it as offensive. I need to get more views to the video to get Youtube to manually review it. Right now, Youtube hides this video from everybody except those who browse my channel page and see it there. Let's change that! Thanks "

Oh, and by the way, if we are already talking about Finnish, come on Duolingo, make a Finnish course. :)

Cool video! And some interesting facts! It's unusual to hear so much about Finnish without (as a non-expert native speaker) having to cringe at any factual errors...

I wonder what on earth YouTube found offensive about it. An obscene number of grammatical cases, perhaps? X-D

YouTube honestly seems going down the toilet. This video and what happened to it is one reason why. I hope a better alternative that's not so strict comes out and LangFocus switches to it.

Very nice jzsuzsi, I also recommend Paul's videos whenever suited. He's very informative, accessible and has an obvious love for everything language-related.

He still doesn't have a video on Hungarian but he'll get there eventually.

Actually, a little while ago, Paul stated that he would no longer be doing language profiles for the sake of his health. So RIP to the chances of that.

Well... that's a shame. He still has a broad catalogue of languages though.

It might not be apparent but those videos take a lot of work to produce. And, bar the sporadic collaboration, it's a one-man show.

I was aware of that fact as I watched his video on how he makes a video. It's also there that he talked about the end of language profiles.

At least, you can watch the NativLang Hungarian video instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikODMvw76j4

Thanks for posting this link - it was interesting. Speaking of creating a Finnish course, I no longer can bring up the post for voting for Finnish, I keep getting an Error 404 code. Does anyone know what happened to it?

I'm afraid it might have reached the comment threshold that prevents access to the thread, similar to what happened to the Activity Stream Announcement. Despite this, Finnish is still the most requested language in all of Duolingo.

It is almost like there is some kind of conspiracy against Finland.
