Vocabulary building tips, apps or others resources?
I use Lingvist to help me build vocabulary and get used to natural-sounding sentences in German, but they don't have a Turkish course. I don't really own a laptop and I have very limited access to a PC, plus I don't want to go around downloading random stuff into my phone when I can just ask people here!
Would love it if anyone could give me even so much as a word of advice. :)
There are a couple of free podcasts that I use: Turkish Tea Time & TurkishClass101.com, which are good for giving you examples of real Turkish spoken by native speakers, and then explaining the grammar & vocabulary in those examples. They both have episodes pitched at different difficulty levels, so you have to go through and pick out the ones that are appropriate for where you are.
There are also plenty of Turkish TV shows, movies, and music videos on YouTube, many of which have English subtitles. These obviously don't teach vocabulary in the same way that drilling on an app does, but they let you get a sense of the language as it's actually spoken, and when you do pick up/figure out a new vocabulary word from context, it's really satisfying.
Hmm.Maybe this can help you : https://tiny.cards/decks/d927299e-a8f9-4098-a3d7-eeada20fc261
