어떻게: how

이기다: to win

-는지: change the preceding part to combine it with verbs like 알다 (know) and 모르다 (not know). You would use -는지 for sentences that contain question words, e.g. "do you know how to...", "I know what...", "He knows where...".

아세요: polite 세 form of 알다.

Hope this helps.

Are there ever going to be 'tips' sections for any of these final level lessons? if it was pure vocab I would understand not having them, but there are some novel grammar forms introduced here and in the adjacent skills that you clearly know how to explain well.

Please advise.

Am a bit confused between this connecting structure and the indirect speech for question.

그녀는 여기에 어떻게 오는지 물었다 = She asked how to get here

그녀는 여기에 어떻게 올 거라고 물었다 = She asked how she was going to get here => She asked how to get here (indirect speech)

Q: What's the difference between the two sentences? And if one were incorrect, why?

PS: Also why is 어떻게 highlighted, and not 는지?

감사합니다.
