Seiclo - typo in a question.

I got the question Write "Cycle" in Welsh, I answered beic as I expected from the format of the question that it wanted the noun, but the answer required was seiclo.

Was that a picture question? There was one, recently deleted, where it was unclear if the answer should have been beic or seiclo/beicio.

Yes, it was a picture question. If it comes up again I'll let you know.

... And what is the problem here? It wanted the verb, and you answered with "bike". It's not a typo as I can see.

The problem is that there was no clue that it wanted the verb, together with the fact that translating a Welsh verbnoun into English always expects either "to VERB" or "VERBing" but not the bare stem "VERB", which could be misunderstood for a command form or a noun.

So if it wanted a verbnoun seiclo, I would have expected a prompt "to cycle" or "cycling" -- precisely to avoid this kind of misunderstanding!
