Learning French as a Spanish or English speaker.
I am completely fluent in Spanish and English. I have taken French lessons for about four years in total, always from an English perspective. I learn French on Duolingo as an English speaker, but I was wondering if it would be better to learn it as a Spanish speaker, since Spanish verb conjugation is closer to French verb conjugation than English. Also, in Spanish we have the masculine and femenine nouns like in French.
You have nothing to lose, so try it. Sign-in using Spanish as your home language. My understanding is that one is able to run both trees at the same time.
Well if you have so much experience with French already I'd say to try it from a Spanish perspective. It could help you're memory and learning of it perhaps and the conjugation is closer as you spoke of.
