Completing DuoLingo

Does anyone know roughly how many individual lessons are in a DuoLingo course? I'm trying to space out my practice so I'm doing a little bit every day, but that I'll finish my Spanish Course by December 31st (it was a New Year's Resolution)

It varies by language. It could also change if the course is updated, which it probably will be. (I understand a new version is being tested in beta.)

That said, you can figure out the number of lessons currently in each unit by looking at the numbers under the skill icons. Add up the lessons you have not done and divide by the number of remaining days in the year to find out what your average daily progress needs to be.

The highest level you can reach is level 25, and to get there you need to earn 30,000 xp. You'll probably have finished doing all the lessons much sooner than that. The lessons you have done will not remain gold forever, you need to keep redoing them once in a while. (call it "regilding" if you wish.)

Happy learning, and here's to a good and happy 2018!
