There's a free website called Busuu (www.busuu.com) where you can sign up and take lessons (much like Duolingo) but also chat with native speakers. Of course, you can also start a discussion such as this on Duolingo already, but there are other sites which might suit your interests better, but Duolingo discussions aren't working for you.
