The correct version is "What are you doing for New Year's Eve?", which I heard maybe a million times in TV Shows. But nooo, Duolingo doesn't like the correct version.
Yeah they should get these answers read by someone with more experience in English.
"What do you do at New Year?" (normal English) rejected, "What do you do on New Year?" (Google translate English) suggested.
At least say "New Year's"
