what happened to German course?

I used to learn German on duolingo back to 2013-2014. However, for many reasons, I've gave up on my studies in order to learn another languages. Now, after about three years I proposed myself to learn German and give it another try. I hope to finish it as soon as I can, because I plan to take some classes at the Goethe Institute in my city. By the way, I have noticed one thing on this course, the lessons are shorter than it used to be. What happened to lessons to become so shorter?

The tree was updated somewhere in 2016... so there's that.

The German-from-English tree has gone through some updates since then, with some things rearranged. After that long away from the it, I would recommend just starting back from the first lesson and do everything again. The lessons that have many of the words that you remember will just go by fast anyways.

Which Goethe Institut location are you planning to take classes at? I've taken all of the A1 and A2 classes at the Goethe Institut locations of Washington DC and in Munich, Germany. I definitely enjoyed taking courses at both locations.

I didn't notice any change, maybe it is another A/B test?

It was updated twice - lost two trees.

It was updated quite a bit. I have not been here in a long time, but I do remember a lot of mistakes in the past in the course. Maybe they fixed them by now.
