"La,le,les" vs "en' ?!

hello im confused between when we use le,la,les and "en" to replace something ! for exemple je l'ai fait vs j'en ai fait !

"le, la, les" = "something" "en" == "de something"

"je l'ai fait" ~ "I did this/it/him/etc" (or "I have done this" to make it more literal) "j'en ai fait" ~ "I did (some) of it"

("J'en ai assez!" -- "I've got enough of it" (literally))

(Please note another interesting thing: "y" == "à something")

When you replace "à something", like "pendant que j'y pense" = "pendant que je pense à cela" ("while I'm thinking about it").
