Could the word "rooster" apply here--strictly curious.
sometimes I can get it to accept "rooster", but sometimes it seems to really want you to make the connection that cocoș = cock. Does anyone know if it has the same double meaning in Romanian that it does in English?
It does, but it's really tame and people might not get it unless you make it really obvious.
why can't you put rooster

Kind of odd that there is no difference in pronunciation here.
Rooster or cock?
I used forvo and still can't hear difference.
Cockerel not accepted?
