My fellow contributor Deliciae has written an amazing forum post for folks who want to write error reports that contributors can use to improve their course content.
"Report any other issue with a sentence in a freewrite report. If that option is unavailable to you, you may use the sentence discussions."
Are freewrite reports only available to some people? Or some courses perhaps? I used to have this option, but do not any longer. Furthermore, the options to select the type of problem have become very limited and often do not apply to the actual problem.
That leaves the sentence discussions which I suspect are often ignored by the moderators for some courses (although that is not the case for other courses).
I, too, used to be able to make these reports, but now cannot in any language; I assumed this was the case for everyone. So there are often problems that can only be mentioned in sentence discussions, and, in the case of picture questions, not even there.
Every course should have one of these! Preferably stickied. Given how nasty people can be just in sentence discussions, I can't imagine how bad it is when they're submitting comments into what they perceive as the void.
Like elizadeux, I'm surprised to find that anyone still has a freewrite report option.
