"Luis drinks beer Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday."
Translation:Luis bebe cerveza el lunes, el martes y el miércoles.
I wrote only the first "el" and it said wrong answer... Why? The "el" functions like "on" (according to the tooltip), but if I write "... on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday" it will be as correct as "...on Monday, on Tuesday and on Wednesday." Is it a problem with duolingo or a difference between spanish and english?
It is grammatically wrong in saying "the Monday, the Tuesday and the Wednesday." in this sentence. As per google translate, it states as follows: English: Luis bebe cerveza el lunes, el martes y el miércoles. Spanish: Luis drinks beer on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Well I leave it up to Duolingo to address the more English-based sentences that do not add up when translated from Spanish to English.
the words go past the continue sign so how am i sopposed to memorize that when i cant even see the rest of the scentence i think that you are just making up words to look like spanish but there really not spanish you are liing and well mabey you are lies your website is a lie.
