Jumping from one lesson to the next for classroom.

My teacher wants to teach both the Past and Imperfect tense as a whole “Past tense” unit, but I’m setting up Duolingo for schools and it doesn’t allow me to unlock the imperfect tense for students without going through most of its other advance courses. Is there a way I can unlock the imperfect tense for the classroom so the students may learn the past and imperfect tense without going through the perfect/future tense???

No, I don't think that's an option. Sorry. Maybe you could tell your teacher that. I'm sure (S)he'll understand.

BilingualVader is correct: Duolingo uses verbs and other vocabulary from earlier lessons to teach the preterit and imperfect. Thus, you are required to take earlier lessons in order to unlock them.
