Please turn down the sound effects
Until today (2/03/2018) The volumes have been a more or less at a balanced level.
Today when I started my usual revision, I noticed that the voice volumes are the same as they always were, but for some reason the sound effect volumes are blaring like some ear-rape videos.
What is the bloody point of having sound effects this loud, they aren't conveying anything useful, just there to add to the experience.
They don't add to the experience with this volume, you'll be intently listening to something where you have to focus on what's being said and then a few seconds later when you press enter to evaluate your answer BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMP.
Please revert it, or give us the option to set volumes. I've disabled the sound effects for now, but to be honest they were useful before, just they're so loud now I can't be dealing with them, especially as a headphone user.
You can turn sound effects off separately from other sounds. After all they have virtually no educational value.
Hey, thanks for letting us know! We will look into this and see if we can reproduce on our end—please remember when reporting or posting about a bug to share any extra info about browsers/languages etc. (moving this to the Troubleshooting forum)
Happy to report everything is back to normal.
I thought I was the only one noticing that... the sound effects are now much louder that the voices volume.
Have no idea why they changed that... If it ain't broken...
Maybe someone pushed the wrong button... :)
I usually have the sounds deactivated because it exasperates the ones I have around... yes it is too loud.
Ok yeah, I noticed this too. The green button noise was loud, so I turned the volume down, then the voice was quiet, so I turned it up a bit. Button noise was loud/voice was soft. What is goin' on?
I noticed this as well, but to be honest, I think they were always too loud. I prefer to have them on, but it would be better if they were even quieter than they were before.
