why not: he is now out at lunch

I noticed that the computer voice slurred the vowels so that “na obědě” sounded like “nobědě”. Is this sort of slurring common in Czech, as in Spanish, or are such vowels separated by a slight glottal stop as in German?

I can't hear anything like that. If anything, the syllabic stress in the last word may be strange, but overall the audio is good enough.
