Marking me wrong then saying that the answer is what I picked

I'm new to Duolingo and I decided to try out the Korean language as it has always fascinated me, I started about a week ago and it's rather exciting. I know that it is in beta still but I have been coming across instances where I get a question correct and it marks it wrong, I am unable to post a screenshot to forums so I will have to describe it. This example is of the "what sound does this make?" question where it gave the hangul symbol of 각 and the options of 1) gak 2) gam and 3) gak again. I thought it was funny that they would have the same answer twice and I selected 1) gak and it said I was wrong. The return answer at the bottom stated that the correct answer was "gak". I'm guessing that this is a beta testing issue that needs fixing but could someone please verify that they are having the same problems cause this has happened now more than a couple times.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. "gak" was mistakenly marked as both correct and incorrect, and it's now fixed!

We also have an official Facebook group where you can upload pictures:

Thank you very much and happy learning!

Hello and welcome :-) When you get that message "Your answer is wrong" (or similar, on a pink background), there should also be a "Report" button. You can then report the error for that question immediately.

I did that for other languages (French and Spanish), and after some time, I got an email saying that my additional suggestion had been incorporated in the course. So reporting will ensure a better quality for the future.

(I just realized that you posted this in the "Duolingo" forum. I think it would be better if you moved this thread to the "Korean" forum because in that forum, the responsible moderators also watch, and they might add comments.)

Thanks, I did not know there was one specifically for Korean, and the report button was only for if it was spoken incorrectly, and that part of the question was fine.

In that case, take a screenshort and report it via

Thank you for reporting this because I had the same problem. I think I pressed the report button, but it feels like it doesn't do anything because I get no feedback or extra text box to add additional info. I also noticed something else and I am not sure if this is an error, but this currently does not make sense to me. This, 밣, is pronounced "bal" , but this, 밝, is pronounce "bak". Why are they not using the same formula, or is it an error?
