what is the difference between "Soy una ingeniero y carpintero" & "Soy yo ingeniero y carpintero".

what is the difference between "Soy una ingeniero y carpintero" & "Soy yo ingeniero y carpintero". Duoligno said both are correct and at same time both are incorrect in one of the practice module. Strange.

I don't believe you need the article in the first one. The first simply states "I am an engineer and a carpenter" - a simple declaration of profession.

The second puts an emphasis on me. It's somewhat like saying Me, I'm an engineer and a carpenter.

The article is not necessary. "Soy ingeniero/ingeniera".

As another point of grammar, ingeniero would be “un” as it is a masculine noun:}
