Second tree down!

I've finally finished my German tree! It feels like a sort of license to leap into reading (or trying to read) all the things I've always wanted to read. My thanks to the Duolingo team for this amazing opportunity!

I have decided to celebrate with the following quote, which (mis)read in the present context reminds me of my experience with Duolingo over the last few months:

Wish me luck!

What is a German tree?

They mean the German learning tree, you'll see it progresses, your 'learning path'.

Thanks. Never knew they referred to it as a tree.

People shouldn't vote honest questions down. Glad to be able to help.

To be honest, after the layout changes, it doesn't look like a tree anymore. There used to literally be lines with branch points and all that.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch! This is an accomplishment!

It made me think of "Herzlichen Glühstrumpf" and I am sure that you can now enjoy something as funny as this: http://www.spiegel.de/kultur/gesellschaft/nervsprech-wettbewerb-herzlichen-gluehstrumpf-liebe-leser-a-338954.html

Well done! Very inspiring. I am standing at the root of my German tree and it's nice to see it can be climbed and that reward awaits at it's crown. Hope you enjoy the travels in your newfound land!
