search by subforum

probably everyone has noticed that the search function is really bad on this site, however there is still a way to get better results: if you want results only from a specific forum (such as Spanish from English), go to that forum first, and only then search - it will give results only from that forum (plus general forum and troubleshooting, but that's already better than going thru results from all the forums)

compare: same keywords but different results

Именно. Every now and then I search my name a few different ways so that I can see who is trying to "summon" me (and sometimes it is somewhere I would never find under normal circumstances, or a late reply). I have definitely noticed this problem, as you aren't able to search by category properly....we await a cure...

Peculiar...

How come it is that this post was made 3 months ago, but it is listed amongst the relatively new discussions in the 'new' tab?

So the search works by scanning body of comments and picking any comments including why or is? That is over half million results.
