Living Language french with duolingo

Hello everyone

I am currently using duolingo with a workbook called living language. It comes with 3 books (essentials, Intermediate, and Advance) and I love it so far. I was wondering if anybody else has used this method of combining living language with duolingo. Please let me know how you were with the language after you finished. My ultimate goal is to learn to read, write, understand (listen), and then speak somewhat in that order. Please let me know what you all think. Also I already have the living language and duolingo I'm just curious what I should expect at the end of each course. Thank you.

I like it so far. It's easy to follow and it focuses on a mix of vocab, grammar, and regular and irregular verbs -ir -er -re as well as stuff like avior and etre. I like it. I tried to learn spanish through rosetta stone and I didn't like it when i finished. I loved it at the time until i was embarrassed trying to speak to people. It is good for vocab though. but i prefer this so far. I'm already reading some children's books in french (a little embarrassed that I'm enjoying them). lol. It's only like $40 on amazon. I looked at a lot of reviews on it and everybody seems to like it. but apparently the old version of this (from like 20+ years ago) was terrible so be careful of what you hear. I only focused on review from the last 10 years. If you're looking for something to get into check it out. If you don't like it it's only $40. That what i told myself at least. lol Sorry for the long response hope this is what you were looking for.
