Immersion tutorial

Howdy, I have been on the site for 36 days and have had a very positive experience, so far! The community seems very helpful, so I thought I would pose a question regarding immersion.
How far along in the program should you be before working in the immersion phase and also, is there a tutorial that explains how to use it?

Hey,

Duolingo will suggest to you to start Immersion at some point after you finished a lesson. But you can take a look around before by clicking on the Imersion tab, and try to translate a bit. Here is some info from the (unofficial) Duo Wiki

Thanks for the link! It would be nice if something like that was on the site.

I am 92% finished with my tree, and while I feel I have come a very long way, I have had little success with immersion (but that might just be me, everyone is different). All I can suggest is: keep having a look at the articles, and when you feel confident, try translating. The worst that can happen is that youll get corrected and down-voted and you will feel like garbage (just kidding). Good Luck
