Why is it 'meinen' Neffen and not 'meine'. It's plural accusative (I think)
Actually it's singular accusative, hence meinen:
Ich sah meinen Neffen - I saw my nephew
Ich sah meine Neffen - I saw my nephews

Maybe is slow speech it's obvious that it's meinen , but in normal speed, don't they both sound the same? Therefore my listening answer should have been accepted?
No you would still have two n's sounded
I heard it as Nessen for Neffen
I had to listen on slow speed. The woman was unintelligible.
