What would probably actually be said is: "I draft the contracts." That's American English lawyerspeak. And American lawyer would never, I think, write in her c.v. that she has experience in "writing" contracts. And German usage might, instead, be "Ich entwerfe die Verträge." And a draft contract is an "Entwurf." Or so writeth Leo. Any Germany-qualified lawyers on the board?
