As with previous sentences, it is not clear whether you or the girls had been in prison for ten years
Still it doesn't change the translation. In English you don't know either.
Should read: "...ten years IN prison."
"in prison" is what I wrote, and it was accepted.
This isn't natural English. "You started to cry on seeing your daughters after ten years in prison" would be better.
I agree with those that say " in prison". However of is also used hence your software shoul accept both. As a matter of fact many latin langauage that I speack very well both can be used (Italian ,Spanish Ferench)
