A unique way that helped me learn a language.

Hey guys!

A couple of years ago, when I was starting to learn Italian, I opened an Italian travel book and went to the first page of the language section, telling myself I would memorize all the sentences on that one page. Thankfully, there were only two, and they were:

  1. You are the most beautiful woman in the world.
  2. You are faster than me.

Sadly, after many years, I forgot how to translate them into Italian, but what I did was I would replace words with new words I learned. Eventually, that first sentence started to evolve in wacky directions:

  1. You are the most beautiful woman in the world.
  2. You are the most beautiful woman in America.
  3. You are the nicest woman here.
  4. You are the nicest man here.
  5. They are the nicest people there.
  6. I am the worst person here.
  7. I have two people with me here.
  8. I have two cute dogs in the house.

And so on! As you can see, just memorize one sentence, then when you get more vocabulary and grammar, you can update your sentence! It was fun for me and I really did learn a lot.

Anyways, if you do this, feel free to share some examples and I wish you all the best in your language-learning journey!

This is probably the best way to learn a language, Find a sentence, memorize it, then start switching and adding words around then boom! Next thing you know you'll see a lot of improvement! :)
