"Kitten" in Greek is "γατάκι".

The "...άκι" suffix can be added to many words to show they are small. It's also used in terms of affection: "παιδάκι μου = my child.

'Young cats' is wrong? If το μικρό κορίτσι is the the young girl, it should be applicable here too.
