Japanese TV shows

This is probably something that's been asked thousands of times before, but for some reason Duo won't let me use the search function - sorry, bear with me.

This past week I've finished both 死神くん and 魔王 - the former was recommended by a friend, the latter featured the same lead actor so I thought I'd give it a try. I enjoyed both immensely, especially 魔王 which had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, and of course everything helps when it comes to listening practice. So I've been looking for recommendations - what are some good Japanese TV shows/dramas I can put on my to-watch list? I don't have very high standards so every suggestion is welcome. Preferably ones that don't revolve around romance, though I'll try anything.

Thanks in advance!

I'm more an anime guy myself, but I've recently watched the Netflix original series "Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman". I found it to be very strange, but still funny and entertaining. I believe it's based on a manga and in my opinion, I think the show would work better as an anime, considering the nature of the show's humor. To give a brief summary; Kantaro is a hardworking salesman for a publishing company and finds motivation in his work by visiting sweets shops after he finishes his sales visits. The show follows his venture into the world of sweets and his interactions with his fellow co-workers and others. I don't know if this sounds interesting to you, but I hope you'll consider watching it.
