I put 'call out' which was marked wrong even though it was mentioned twice in the hint. Which is it, 'call' or 'call out'? Not that we ever call our doctor in the UK - we call the surgery and get an appointment to see the doctor. The last comment here was 4 years ago. I feel I've boarded a ghost ship.

Does "chaimare" also work for "calling" on the phone? How would you say "They call him "the doctor"? (Forse "Chiamano a lui il dottore..."???)

La domanda è... Dottore chi?

By the way I believe this would be "Lo chiamano il dottore."

I think it is saying that they call the doctor not they call him the doctor. But usually i think it would be chiamano al dottore, wouldn't it?

Lo chiamano il dottore is They call him "the doctor"

Chiamano al dottore is incorrect.

"doctor" non sarebbe "medico"?

Γιατί στην αργή προφορά λέει "i" και όχι "il" ?

I listened to this 4 or 5 times on slow and fast and not once did it sound like she said 'il' before 'dottore'.
