German some words have changed, Why?
In the Duolingo German Lesson Verfugbar means Available, In an older Berlitz German Dictionary the word is (Vorratig) what happened? Why the change.
Both are right, but be careful to use the dots: it's "verfügbar" and "vorrätig". The later means "in stock" but also "available".
Like said before, vorrätig means rather in stock, so you cannot use it for people or services, only for goods. Even goods can be verfügbar even if they are not vorrätig, for example when they are produced on request.
