duoLingo app for Kindle Fire HD

SO, I have a Kindle Fire HD and I was eager to find the duoLingo app. I searched and searched but, I could not find it! So, I sent an email to the duoLingo service and left it at that. Hopefully they would reply and say that they would be working on it. I looked again on the Kindle appstore a few hours later, and booyah! There it was, grand and beautiful . But, sadly, they were not updated. I used it for a while and then became a little annoyed that it was not updated. I used it for about 3 months and then I contacted duoLingo through email again. I didn't want to act like a spoiled brat and go and complain to them. I nicely sent them an email and left it alone for the rest of the afternoon. It was around 7:30 and I went to get on my Kindle, and behold, it was being updated. IT WAS EXACTLY LIKE THE SITE ON THE PC! I was so thrilled. The only thing different is that you can't do any activity, discussion, immersion, or comments on profiles. That was fine with me though. I just wanted to thank duoLingo for their support team! In the comments below, say something nice about duoLingo!

Thanks from the team! :)

I guess I should thank you... I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas and found the DuoLingo app shortly thereafter, and have been quietly plugging away on the old interface learning Italian ever since. I had no idea there was a newer interface and an online community until my app updated itself a few days ago. It's like a whole new dimension! So much to explore! Thanks to the DuoLingo team for making this free, easy, and fun!

P.S. Now I use duoLingo a lot more thanks to the people on the support team. I don't think it was coincidence. I think it was pure kindness :) Share something nice about the duoLingo team, or just the awesomeness of the website and all the people behind it!!!!! :)

I too have a KindleFire and this is all I use for Duolingo. I feel very appreciative to the staff for the opportunity to learn, the site, the updates. Heartfelt thanks.

Can you read the comments connected to examples? I wonder because that is where a lot of the learning takes place.

I can't on my Kindle but I use my laptop a lot. It would be very nice but, I can do what I need to do. Like, I can look at your profile on my Kindle but I can't comment on it. Not a big deal but, would be nice if that was updated in the near future :)

It has disappeared again. I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
