Is the word batleth related to this?

It is indeed -- it comes from batlh 'etlh "blade of honour; sword of honour".

I got this as a "Mark all correct meanings" and it said "1. Batlh..." It should technically be "batlh" with a lowercase "b," right?

Yes. There is no B in Klingon, only b. We have discovered that some of the automated exercises recapitalize our carefully constructed sentences. The Duolingo programmers have been informed and are already trying to figure out how to make it work the way that Klingon needs it to work, but still handle the other languages properly.

Wow. Thanks for all your hard work! I bet you must be tired of answering all these technical questions that are really just a glitch, huh?

yes, I noticed as well. It seems that there is none or not many options for case sensitivity in languages. I wonder if that's an issue in language courses like German also.

It's not as annoying in German. I'm getting rusty. I need to go practice that one.

In a way it sounds like 'Battle'. Considering the Klingon originators I am not surprised if that was intended.
