Translation:I made my father happy by having good grades.
There is a word missing in the French sentence. It should read "J'ai rendu mon père heureux"
Aren't we missing "heureux" after "mon père"? Which was my gut feeling, but tried to second guess and went for "I gave my father good grades" obviously I am in good company here, so is there an explanation?
The word "heureux" is missing. The last few lessons are a disaster, who spells checks those? It says: " I gave my father back by having good grades" right now
There seems to be a problem here. The sentence translates roughly as "I have rendered my father in having good marks" but the "correct" answer says something about happy.
From what I can tell, there's a mistake. The word for happy is missing from the French sentence.
