Translation:La peau du poulet est bien grillée.

    From a culinary point of view 'burned black' is probably not the same as 'bien grillée'. With the first sentence I feel something has gone wrong, whereas in the second sentence I feel like setting the table to have a nice meal.


    I agree, wouldn't 'bien grillée' be more like 'well-done' or 'well-cooked'? Maybe even charred, but 'burned black' doesn't seem right


    It seems it really means "roasted brown".
