Yet another multiple choice question error!
Basics 2 lesson 2. Multiple choice question. Q. Je _ Possible answers: mangez/ mangeons/manges NONE of these is correct. How am I meant to get this answer right and complete the section? For the umpteenth time, Duolingo, CHECK YOUR MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS, PLEASE!!!!!
I checked the form exercise in the system and could see that ALL conjugations for "manger" in present tense, plus the infinitive are suggested as options in the exercise.
If you can't see "mange, manges, mangeons, manger, mangez, mangent", then it is a technical issue.
You may want to report this to the Staff at Duolingo: https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
First, you can flag the question for review. Secondly, at the bottom of the page is an icon for a keyboard, and you can switch to keyboard and type the correct answer. After you mark the question as having an issue, you’ll see at the bottom of the page a link to the discussion about that question. Go add your input there as well.
I’ve gotten several emails this week alone on answers I suggested that were added by Duomafter review.
Hi Scott, Thanks for the suggested solution to my problem but to answer this question you have to choose one of the multiple choice suggestions. There is no key board, at least on the version sent to my iPad, to allow you to add an answer of your own so if the correct answer isn't offered you are well and truly stuck. A key pad icon IS available when the question wants you choose your answer word by word from the selection of words in little boxes.
I, too, have had corrections accepted in the past, and, for a moment, I thought you had given me a way out of my problems with multiple choice but Duolingo continues to be pretty inaccessible. I used to be able to report problems after choosing REPORT but when I do that now I can only say there is a problem with the question or with the answer. I am not allowed to say what the problem is!
I have also tried to send screen shots to them to show the problem but cannot find a way to send them to Duolingo from my iPad.
I'll have to go back to doing timed tests. At least I can reach my daily goal that way!
