The exercise responses are not as thorough or correct with the new format. I no longer receive advice to check accents, and at least in the preterite skill, there are wrong answers that have been accepted. Especially ar verbs. For instance I answer él conté instead of él contó. I think it is reading my incorrect answer as a spelling mistake, only the Duolingo response no longer indicates spelling errors.
