Bonus skill a waste of lingots

I just bought a bonus skill "idioms" which then asked me the SAME EXACT QUESTION, about 10 times, with 3 or 4 different pictures that rotated and repeated. Translate the word "heart." I happened to know the word already, which was not your fault. But I consider the useless repetition with no progression a waste of time and lingots. Could I please have a refund on the 30 lingots?

Never mind you'll soon have so many lingots that you'll forget what a waste it was.

I hate it too. I purchased it over a year ago and then wanted to keep my tree golden. That left me constantly having to keep that gold too. It worthless. No one says stuff like that anymore in English. Most I haven’t heard in at least 30 years. It’s probably the same in Spanish.

If you find a way of getting a refund let me know.

Well, you do get badges for paying a certain amount of lingots.

Nothing that is remotely interesting is a waste of lingots.

A similar problem is happening with the Flirting skill. Here's a similar thread talking about the issue you seem to be having: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/26880208. I don't know what the deal is. I bought both of these skills a long time ago and haven't noticed anything like this, so maybe it's a problem with the newer versions. In the idioms skill I bought, there are a diverse array of sayings. My advice is to contact a Duo representative if you're really concerned, but I doubt you will be able to get a refund.
