Charlie y Lola - Spanish Cartoons
Someone suggested these videos on YouTube to help with Spanish listening comprehension. They're my favorites because:
no subtitles. (I'm lazy & if there are english or spanish subtitles I will read them instead of really listening)
the stories are cute and interesting (if you've ever tried to watch spanish cartoons they can be as obnoxious as english cartoons)
the talking speed and voices are easy to follow, while being natural.

Anyone else have any YouTube suggestions??
That's perfect, thanks for posting that, but I'm probably more at the Teletubbies stage of Spanish development lol.
I'm probably at the the "Dora the Explorer" stage, but I hope one day to attain the teletubbies stage!
Thank you for the link to Extr@ en español! Been watching this for the last three days alongside lessons on duolingo and speaktribe. It's very enjoyable to watch and I've even learned several words. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you very much for linking this! It's perfect. Just what I was looking for!
Omg yes. The ones I clicked on were a little past my level but I will totally watch these when I get there.
Especially given I have most episodes pretty well memorized, this is a great way that I can follow along without getting confused. This is a game-changer for me.

Kids shows are the best because they have to be dubbed - you can't just slap subtitles on a show for people who can't read yet! They also have simple storylines and vocabulary for us new-language-learners to grasp easily, while still being very authentic, as they're being aimed at native speakers.
As a brony, my first choice of spanish-dubbed cartoons is, of course, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It took some creative googling thanks to Hasbro passing out Cease & Desists like candy on hallowe'en, but I managed to find a channel on Daily Motion that had full episodes of Latina Ponies.
There are also shows designed to teach languages. For anglophones, the BBC Languages website has some pretty great resources for several languages, not just Spanish. :-)
That's a good idea to look for dubs of your favorite animated shows though I gotta admit, 'latina ponies' really sounds like a porn title ;)
Thanks for the suggestion! I've been watching Caillou in Spanish, which is also very chill compared a lot of modern cartoons. Also, each episode is short and thematic which makes it easier to pick up new vocabulary. :)

edit: someone uploaded a video that's 9 hours (!) of the Spanish version to YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEv0nOeafvY
wow i never really thought of this, this may make ma spanish learning real fun.. thanks for the great idea :)
This is not youtube and I don't think there are any Spanish subtitles. There are 50 or more episodes. It quite cute if you ever had a Barbie doll, you may like it:
Oh, that's cool! So you really can see how much of the language you can already understand :)
Também costumo assistir Peppa Pig, pois os diálogos são uteis e não é tão dificil de acompanhar!
