Update
So far I am not a fan, I find the crowns an unnecessary gimmick, but then I find the “lingots” totally unnecessary, but that doesn’t bother me much BUT when I complete a single lesson I can no longer see all the lessons within a section, I get led back to the icon; I may for example want to revise a single lesson within a section, seemingly I can no longer do that? Or am I missing a trick?
Progress for the sake of progress but no improvement?

you are totally right. the issue I was using the skill test and its now disappeared too. in the same time the strength doesn't show the progress and the strength bar will remain empty. the percentage of influent no longer appears on the top of the app too.
What I do like however is that there are more English -> Spanish exercises and more translation from voice tests.
