C'est la vie ! Shall we disallow all borrowed words then? In that case, our BrE speakers will certainly revolt because, being only about 21 miles across the English Channel, England has adopted many words from the French and vice versa. And surely you know that "le weekend", "la pizza" and "le hamburger" have already found their way into the French dictionary.
