It would be easy to correct this sentence, just add the word "not" as in Crocodiles are not descended from dinosaurs. Or change the "Crocodiles" to "Birds" and that would also be less of a science travesty.

The hint over dinosaurs shows it as “dinosaures” but when I type that in I get an incorrect answer with the spelling shown as “dinausaurs.” Which one is correct?

Definitely 'dinosaures'. I can't find any (non-misspelled) use of 'dinausaurs'.

Here it is in TLFi:

When I spell it “dinosaures” I get it wrong with the correction saying “dinausaures.” When I re-did it, I spelled it “dinausaures” and Duo marked it correct
