Free Stuff for learning Esperanto

Three quick things.

Myrtis Smith has compiled an e-book in Esperanto. I, myself, did half of the translations. It's not expensive, but now's your chance to get it for free. (Free through Saturday.)

I teach Esperanto on italki and have a steady flow of students. I'm pleased to announce that thanks to the support of the Esperantic Studies Foundation, I'm able to offer my services at a very affordable rate for a select number of new students. See this Facebook post or contact me for details.

The Fall Esperanto Gathering (in Esperanto "ARE") has arranged for a special cottage with affordable accommodation for this annual Esperanto event. It's our 25th year Jubilee. Thanks to donations from E-USA and KEA (Canada), we' are able to offer support to young Americans and Canadians who are interested in participating in this Columbus Day (Canadian Thanksgiving) weekend event. If you're interested, now's the time to speak up.

Links are above and below. If you don't do Facebook, be sure to speak up if you need details.

I don't know how I was unaware of this book!

I'm trying to develop my Spanish to Advanced Low at the moment, but those Spanish translations means I can dabble without it counting as being distracted from my goal ;)

To be clear, there are two books. The new one is free though tomorrow.

Yes, I got both. :)

This book is exactly the kind of original Esperanto material that I learned Esperanto for!

Strictly speaking they're translations, but translations of material which (to my knowledge) has only been released as part of this book.

Oh! I assumed they were composed in Esperanto first. Either way, it's good material.

I'm having trouble finding the book on the kindle app, it's not listed when I search for it. Any help please?

If you follow the link here in your browser, you can buy it and it will show up on your Kindle. That's what I did. I don't like browsing on my Kindle, since I often have trouble finding the books I want.

Via browser, there's a "This title is not currently available for purchase" message. Are there any geo restrictions?

Ĉi tiu libro mi havas. Ĝi mi legos ĉi nokto. Ĉi tiu estos mia unua libro de esperanto.

Saluton Tomasego. Tre amuzaj rakontoj en la libro. Mi ŝatis legi ilin. Kudoj!

Salute Thomas le Grande. Le contos in le libro esseva multo amusante. Me placeva leger los. Kudos!

Hiacinto! Saluton. Mi penas pri vi ofte. (Nu, de tempo al tempo.. nu, efektive jam antaŭnelonge mi rakontis al iu pri vi.)
