"leng Soj"

Translation:food to go

April 21, 2018

Literally, this means "the food travels", right? I would have thought that "fast food" would be more like "food that travels", thus lengbogh Soj, no?

leng is both a verb (roam, travel, rove) and a noun (trip, voyage, journey).

leng Soj is a noun–noun compound: "voyage food", or the kind of food that you can take with you on a trip and eat on the go.
